Thank you for your interest in DePaul University's Real Estate Organization of Chicago, Illinois. We started the organization in 2005 with the help of DePaul's Real Estate Center at the Loop Campus. We are still working with the faculty there, who support us with financing and provide us with opportunities to find speakers who specialize in various aspects of Real Estate. Our mission is to bring speakers to DePaul for the benefit of any students who are interested in pursuing a career in Real Estate. In our first year we hosted 8 or so professional speakers across a broad range of topic. In addition, several REO members volunteered at the Real Estate Center's Collegiate Real Estate Conference, where 6 other universities and 46 speakers came to DePaul Center for a full day of information sessions and networking.
Our presentations this year will range from Commercial lending, brokerage, banking, property management, land issues, legal aspects, residential, zoning and more. Please take time to vote for a topic you would like to hear more about, or email
to submit a new idea.
REO is an organization that invites undergrad and MBA candidates to come together for networking, social, and professional events at the university. This is the best choice for you if you would like to meet great industry contacts and gain an edge in a wide variety of real estate fields. If you have any specific questions about the group, please send an email to , and we will get back to you promptly.
